Unchain Your Game from Hardware
Based on the voting of a panel of well-known judges, the top three winners of the Challenge will receive awards of $10,000, $6,000 and $3,000 and will be promoted in Extreme Reality marketing efforts after the contest. The Grand Prize winner will also win a meeting with gaming pioneer Trip Hawkins, founder of Electronic Arts.
Along with the contest prizes, all developers will be able to enjoy the benefits of adding full body motion control to their games, opening new opportunities for increasing their user base and revenues.
All games participating in the challenge and submitted to Extreme Reality by November 15th will receive unlimited free use of Extreme Reality’s Extreme Motion technology in perpetuity for the game they enter into the contest.
How does it work?
If you have an existing game/app or an idea for a new game/app that fits the qualifications, apply online and enter your general idea for the game/app.
Once you’ve submitted your idea to the Extreme Reality team we will contact you within 48 hours. You will receive the Extreme Motion SDK and contest criteria that includes documentation, samples, and UI tips to get you started with motion control ideas along with a few cool Extreme Reality gifts Whether you are enhancing your existing game with motion control or creating a new game for iPad you will have until October 15th to develop and submit your game to both Extreme Reality and the Apple Store.

- Graphics and Audio – The level of visuals and audio in the game
- Gameplay – The storyline and mechanics that underpin the game. Is it fun to play?
- Stickiness – Does it have lasting appeal? Is it addictive? Would you finish the game? Would you play it again?
- Polish – Is the game ready for prime time?
- Usability – Is it easy to use with minimal explanations? Is it intuitive?
Who can enter?
The Challenge is open to all developers, from beginner to expert.
You can enter as an individual developer or as a group of developers, just don’t forget to mention the number of developers in the application form.
